Steve has developed, worked on, consulted, or helped launch countless websites for small and large businesses, from simple one-page sites to extensive e-commerce websites with online ordering and order fulfillment. Back in the 2000s, Steve even led the backend development for a VC-backed pet supply brand that launched with an extensive national advertising campaign, including a Super Bowl Ad.
Some examples of websites that Steve single-handly developed and still currently maintains are:
Greg Nicolai Fine Art Photography—A highly customized Shopify website that features online ordering and order fulfillment for a fine art photographer.
SteveMermelstein.com—This website. A highly customized Adobe Portfolio website that showcases its maximum capabilities and use of most of its features. Adobe Portfolio is free with all Adobe Creative Cloud plans, including even the basic Adobe Lightroom Photography plan. (Steve offers an Adobe Portfolio Workshop to help you create an Adobe Portfolio website and learn all of its ins and outs.)
Vermont Drone—A self-hosted and customized WordPress site for Steve's Professional Photography/Cinematography, Video Production, and Aerial Data Collection Services company. In addition to a highly customized theme and WP plugins, it also features several custom WordPress plugins that Steve created. One of these helps showcase all his photographs. Each individual gallery that appears on most pages of the website is actually imported from an individual Lightroom Collection. When photos are re-edited, added to, or removed from that Collection, all the changes/additions are quickly imported and changed on the website automatically.
Vermont Photo Tours—A self-hosted and customized WordPress site for Steve's Private and personalized photography workshops and guided tours company. For efficiency, it also uses a lot of the same customizations and plugins used on Vermont Drone.
usrbingeek LLC—A simple one-page site for Steve's LLC.
